Service Description
Triad of Healing: Healing the Maternal Attachment Wound is a 7-week somatic group experience for women who sense that something foundational was missing in childhood—even if nothing “dramatic” happened. This work centers the truth that attachment wounds are often formed through absence: the absence of attunement, protection, guidance, presence, and repair. These early gaps shape how the nervous system learns to survive, relate, and self-abandon. Across seven weeks, we gently uncover how maternal attachment injuries live in the body today—through hypervigilance, perfectionism, emotional invisibility, self-silencing, over-responsibility, difficulty receiving, and choosing unavailable relationships. Rather than pathologizing these patterns, the program reframes them as intelligent adaptations formed in response to unmet developmental needs. Each week builds toward somatic repair. Participants explore attachment styles and nervous system regulation, how soothing became survival, why safety was replaced with control, and how fawning and self-betrayal protected belonging. We address shame-based guidance and the loss of inner authority, then move into embodied repair—where the body is supported to release what the mind learned to minimize. The final phase centers grief: grieving not only what happened, but what never did. Through titrated somatic practices, co-regulation, and group witnessing, participants metabolize loss without collapse and begin reclaiming voice, needs, boundaries, and intuition. The outcome is not “fixing” the past, but restoring a secure relationship with self. Throughout the program, participants receive somatic education, attachment-informed breathwork, weekly integration practices, and the core Triad of Healing inquiry—awareness, presence, and being witnessed—creating a foundation for lasting nervous system change and continued healing.
