The Veteran's Collective

The Veterans Collective is more than a place to gather. It is a practitioner-led community created to explore the adaptations, relationships, beliefs, and emotions that can accompany military experience and life beyond it.

Created by a veteran for fellow veterans.

At the foundation of this community is something we believe deeply: veterans are not broken.

Many of the adaptations veterans carry made sense within the context of their military experience. The difficulty can come when those same adaptations continue showing up in a life that no longer requires them in quite the same way.

That is where repair becomes possible.

Not repairing the person, but repairing connection. Repairing trust. Repairing relationships. Repairing our relationship with ourselves and our bodies. Reconnecting with parts of ourselves that may have been pushed aside because there simply wasn't room for them at the time.

All About Us

What Sets Us Apart

Within the Veterans Collective, veterans and loved ones have their own community spaces. Their experiences affect one another, but they are not the same experiences. Separate spaces allow veterans to speak openly with other veterans while loved ones have their own space to explore what they have carried, adapted to, and experienced alongside someone they love.

Through practitioner-led conversation, somatic awareness, embodied parts work, breathwork, books, shared resources, and connection, we become curious about what we carry and why it is still here.

Our conversations may explore identity, relationships, anger, grief, belonging, responsibility, hyper-independence, receiving support, transition, purpose, family, and the protective ways we learned to move through the world.

This work does not begin from the belief that something is wrong with you.

It begins from the understanding that your system learned how to get you through what you experienced.

Now there can be space for something more.

For repair. For reconnection. For greater choice. For discovering what still serves you, what you are ready to put down, and what parts of yourself you are ready to welcome back.
